SCRIBBLUMINOUS

‘Scribbluminous’ is an exploration into using the gallery architecture as an immersive digital canvas. By combining a motorised mirror with a programmed projection system, scribbles are automatically linked to various surfaces throughout the space.
The juxtaposition between the structural forms of the space and the overlay of the free-form digital sketches peeks at the possibility of hybridised ‘digital yet physical’, ‘static yet dynamic’ multi-dimensional environments. It also attempts to raise questions of the theoretical and known length and breadth of interdimentional interplay.
The outcome of the scribbles are guided by the architecture of the space, the scribbles are also designed to demonstrate an organic and improvised interpretation of the space, a frame of mind.
